How to Enter

If you have some talent and you’d like to get involved, then entering Rugby’s Got Talent is free and easy.

Each year we will invite entry online.

First …

Firstly, make sure you read through this site, and take a carefulĀ look at our rules to make sure you are happy to accept them. Also, please make sure you are available on performance dates; there’s no point in entering if you can’t actually compete on the day!

Then …

Secondly, prepare (or perhaps you already have) an audio or video recording that demonstrates your talent and give the judges a good insight into your act. Make your recording as good a quality as you can achieve, but please don’t pay for professional recordings. Smartphone and digital camera recordings are quite adequate if you take a bit of care … for example if you are taking video, use a tripod because video shake can be very distracting for the RGT judges.

Video or audio should run for between 2 minutes and 4 minutes, and you should not include any narrative except for a very brief introduction if you really feel it is necessary. Once complete, you should EITHER make your file available on YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Soundcloud or similar; OR keep it to a file size that you can email directly to the RGT judges.
